The solar powered mobile lighting tower and power station is a cool piece of kit. Not only can you light up your party, wedding or event just like an ordinary diesel lighting tower but there is a 230 volt ac power supply, a 24volt dc power supply and also a 12 volt dc power supply. The unit has a battery bank on board and a 3KW inverter.
The lighting tower is designed to run 365 days per year (even in winter) and has a seperate battery bank for the lights but there is a draw back in so far as you will have to know how many watts of power you are using per hour from the inverter as the battery bank will shut down when the batteries run low. eg. You can draw 3000watts from the inverter for an hour but 300watts for 10 hours. (Times are an example only) battery life depends on a few factors.
But the beauty of this machine is that it is completely silent so you can have it right beside the stage or band because it is so quiet. You could have it right beside where people need to sleep (this is ideal for a festival camp site or to power a small gig where there is no esb available). This unit is charged up with solar panels so there are no running costs.
